Welcome to The Orlando Max Malone Foundation - where compassion becomes action, and hope becomes a pathway forward.
Founded in Savannah, Georgia, The Orlando Max Malone Foundation was created in loving memory of Orlando Max Malone, a professional boxer, mentor, and man of deep heart whose life was impacted by CTE and homelessness. His story fuels our purpose. His legacy shapes our mission. His spirit inspires our work.
We are committed to standing in the gap for individuals and families facing homelessness, mental health challenges, re‑entry barriers, youth instability, and community violence. Through outreach, advocacy, mentorship, and strategic partnerships, we work every day to uplift, empower, and restore dignity to those who need it most.
While we do not yet have a full‑service community center, we are actively working toward building one. We believe - by faith and through consistent effort - that God will provide the space, resources, and partners needed to create a center that offers shelter, mental health support, re‑entry services, youth development, family assistance, and a boxing and fitness program designed to help young people "put the guns down and pick the gloves up."
Every step we take is guided by compassion, purpose, and the belief that transformation is possible for everyone.

How Are You Different?
Why We’re Different
The Orlando Max Malone Foundation was born from real life, real loss, and real love — not theory, not paperwork, not performative charity. Our work is personal because our story is personal. We don’t just serve the community; we come from the community. We know the struggle, we’ve lived the pain, and we stand in the gap with compassion that can’t be taught.
We are different because:
• We were built from a legacy, not a logo.
Our foundation honors Orlando Max Malone — a fighter in and out of the ring, a mentor, a protector, and a man whose life was cut short by CTE and homelessness. His story fuels our purpose and keeps our mission grounded in humanity.
• We meet people where they are, not where the world expects them to be.
No judgment. No red tape. No hoops to jump through. Just real support for real people facing homelessness, mental health challenges, re‑entry barriers, youth violence, and family crisis.
• We serve with dignity first.
Every person we help is treated with respect, compassion, and the belief that transformation is possible. We don’t see “cases” — we see people, families, and futures.
• We focus on prevention, not just reaction.
Our youth programs, mentorship, and “Put the Guns Down, Pick the Gloves Up” initiative give young people structure, confidence, and a safe place to grow before the streets claim them.
• We are community‑rooted and community‑powered.
Savannah is home. Our hands, our hearts, and our work stay right here — building safer neighborhoods, stronger families, and opportunities that last.
• We don’t wait for change — we create it.
From outreach to emergency assistance to youth development, we move quickly, intentionally, and with purpose. When someone needs help, we show up.
The Orlando Max Malone Foundation is not just another nonprofit.
We are a movement of healing, hope, and hands‑on service — turning tragedy into transformation and making sure no one is forgotten.
